one point perspective - earthquake before and after

Year 6 One point Perspective Drawings

Year 6 were studying Earthquakes as part of a science unit so we decided to combine science with an art lesson on one point perspective.  The students viewed youtube clips on one point perspective using radiating lines.  They drew a street scape and buildings then used a black ink pen to outline their buildings.  I then photocopied the black outlined picture before they coloured it in.  They coloured the before drawing and using the photocopied page cut up or tore the buildings and glued them on to the after picture.  They were very pleased with the results as they should be.  I am very proud of them!
